Football

Italians are passionate about their football!

Reggina Calcio is the main football club in the region and was founded in 1914. Playing in Serie A of the Italian football league, reputably the most elite in the football world, Reggina staged a thrilling last matchday victory over newly-crowned UEFA Champions League winners, AC Milan, to avoid relegation by just one point last season.

Reggina will be playing host to Juventus who join Serie A this year, Roma, Sampdoria and Lazio to name just a few. Their stadium, the Stadio Oreste Granillo, is located in Reggio Calabria and was built in 1999 and seats 27,763.

Tickets prices range from €18 to €121 with a reduction for children and can be purchased from Ticketone.
